I have photographed this house many times,
usually a window here, a door frame there.
It was in disrepair, but it had character.
Now it's been restored as the new city welcome
center and it looks non-descript to me...
like a copycat house or something.
I used an "Antique Plate" filter to try to
give it some personality.
They may as well have put in a parking lot...

I hate it when they restore something and it just isn't the same....if they want to restore, keep the character...that's what restoring history is all about!
