This is a very hot July, '02

We are in the midst of a drought, but the flowers are OK, the grass isnt. Swimming is great, however. I do spend some time indoors in the computer room.

When the veggies are small, these flowers can shade them, but soon the tomatoes and the cuke vines will be plenty tall. Its just the little pepper plants who get really shaded.

 This was a spectacular colored sunset, it was too late to jump in the car or on my bike so I could take the picture from the beach. So I went right up onto the roof, and got it.
