Taking a rest during the rut at Studley Royal, Ripon.
Having had 3 abortive attempts to get close I finally managed to work my way in to within 10 metres to take these shots.

This is such a nice looking buck! I drew out for the deer hunt this year. It's my first hunt with a tag, and I couldn't be more excited! I hope I get a buck this size! I would be so proud. http://www.ijd.ca/
