I will have to find the origianl print (this was scanned) and I'm afraid that this was probably over-enlarged and not great quality.) There are some interesting bird shots from my last trip to Africa (Africa 2004) taken just north of SA.

After looking up in many books i have finally come to the conclusion that this bird is a Narina Trogan, a difficult bird to find in South Africa, maybe you could just confirm with me that its back is a dark mettalic green, which does not appear to be on this photo due to the light, i also have a shot of this bird and was very excited to have seen it.
