Patagonia

Patagonia is the size of California and Texas combined, covering the southern half of Argentina and Chile. It is very large and sparsely populated, with endless dirt and gravel roads, densely forested space, lakes and rivers of all spectrums of blues and greens, native wildlife dispersing along the roadside, and some of the most amazing landscapes. If you are interested in places less explored, full of rugged and unspoiled beauty, this is a destination for you. In our 3+ weeks of journey down south, we zigzagged between the two countries, working our way from south to north: boarding 13 flights; going through customs 6 times; cruising on lakes and open water 5 times; crossing countless swaying bridges; riding on numerous long distance buses; putting 900km+ on our rental car; paddling miles of whitewaters in rivers big and wide, and small but rocky; being chair lifted 3 times for some bird’s eye views… It was a trip filled with fun and adventures.
