Day 1: Piscaycucho to Huayllabamba

The day starts off on the trail parallel with Urubamba River. We watch the trains below us in the distance traveling between Cusco and Machu Picchu. The highlight of the day has to be the ruin of Patallacta - an ancient Inca agriculture center, giving us a taste of what to come in the next four days.
