This is the main room of the Turkish bath, where a person is to sit and sweat in the steam room. The octagon marble plinth in the center allows up to eight people being worked on at the same time. You would sit next to the marble sink with hot and cold water running from brass fixtures, the staff would pour hot water on you, then walk to the marble plinth, lie down and get a scrub first, rinse at the sink, back for two rounds of massages before having the hair and face washed. All clients have to be completely undressed, the staff are all wearing swimsuits.
