This madrassa (school) was built in the 17th century as the last of the Registan architectural ensemble. “Tilla-Kori” means “decorated with gold” and the interior is lavishly decorated with herbal and linear motifs. Now a UNESCO World Heritage site, it has gone through numerous renovations.
