That tighter crop is much better, but I would love to see that rusty bar out of the shot. I was wondering if you might have wanted to have taken this shot from a lower vantage point.
Just realized that this was a challenge shot. I like the angle and the way the flags draw the eye into the picture. The positioning of the star, chicken and red flowers at top left add more interest to the shot. The only thing I find a little bit discordant is the white in the chicken is a little bit over exposed. Overall a good photo for the holiday challenge!
