good shot. The contrasting color really shows off the green of the tree making it the focal point of the composition.

What a shame, but it's given you the chance of a good photo. The dark green in the shadow works well with the colour in sun, I think it emphasises the season. I initially thought maybe crop just a little off the left but I don't think it improves what is a really good shot
