The British Museum

Titled: "Mrs Anne Seymour Damer" (1749-1828); studied sculpture under Giuseppe Cerrachi. Giuseppe is credited for this marble portrait, but it is evident Mrs Damer had influence.
At her feet are her sculptor's tools, and the origins of the classical male figure with water jar are unknown but related to her interest in classical art.

Giuseppe came to England from Rome in 1773, before going to America and settling in Paris. He was finally guillotined for plotting against Napoleon.

Strong scene, like their attention and of course the fantastic piece of art.
