I don't have an idea when was the last time you went to that place Dave, but things have changed in a couple of years specially when Mayor Lito Atienza initiated the Baywalk development. Baywalk is alwasys full of local and foreign tourists every night (traffic at Roxas Boulevard is at its worst during friday and saturday nights) because of 'open' bars/restaurants along the stretch of that area.

Manila has one of the most beautiful lights by the bay or by the river. comparable if not beautiful than the New York west side highway near the Hudson River.
