Only after infusions with a fungicide my temperature started to drop - antibiotics had not helped.
As a result, they gave me fungicides AND antibiotics (and a virustatic).

The fungicide (V-fend) caused me to see some strange visual artifacts when I received it for the first time.
I guess it's somehow changing the rhodopsin - making it more sensitive.

As a result, I saw after-images not only when looking into bright lightsources, but just about from every bright surface. It was strange, but not really so bad.

Second side effect was that my visualization abilities increased enormously: I was suddenly able to visualize e.g. a spring meadow in bright sunshine, with about 1 million blades of gras swaying in the wind. I was able to rotate this scene in my mind and to zoom in and out as I liked.

The other visualization I tried was "how many objects can you see in your mind at the same time?".
Normally, it should be possible to see 3 - 7 objects at the same time (the number varies from human to human).

I started with 2x3 filled circles. 6 simultaneous objects. That's my normal "mental performance".
I continued with 3x3 filled circles. 9 simultaneous objects - more than I normally could master.
I continued with 9(3x3) 3x3 filled circles. 81 simultaneous objcts!!

When trying even more, I noticed I had to start "scrolling" the image in my mind.

Very nice and fascinating actually.

Other, not so pleasant side effects were things like I suddenly could see the 50 Hz frequency of the neon lights within the room, like a very fast very disturbing flickering.
Also I could see fat black veins at the edges of my vision, seemingly from my retina.

And because every bright, white thing was immediatley overlaid with a yellow afterimage, there were no more whites visible; there were very many yellow spots in the images I saw and therefore the whole world looked yellow-ish.

But these effects only occured during first infusion - then no more. As far as I understand it, that's because the inital dosage is higher then the dosage of the follow up infusions.
