I received high dose Carmustine on Wednesday March 30th.
It was the most terrible experience in my whole life - and I have experienced quite a lot, at least concerning chemotherapy.
I was barely conscious, my heart beat went up to 170 beats per minute, oral and nasal mucosa started swelling and I had the feeling that a storm wind was about to rip me out of my body.
One the photo, I have my eyes open, but actually, I was not really able to see anything. I am injecting myself Dexamethasone with my left hand.
As I heard later, they had given me 970 mg of Carmustine, which was more then twice of what I received last year (470 mg).
Anyway: somehow I made it through it and today (one day later) I feel OK again.
