The last week has been very demanding.
My CRP is up to 120 (normal interval 0-5), which means I feel intensely sick. The high CRP (and also the itch) is a result of tumour activity.
My skin itches incredibly strong, and I can not lie on my back because I have to cough immediately when doing so (because of water, this time within my left lung), can only lie on my right side. I can't sleep till 05 a.m. at least, because of the itch.
The only thing that seems to help against the itch is scalding the itching areas with 60°C (140° F) hot water. Where the hot water hits the skin, the itch for a moment becomes so strong that I think I have to jump to the ceiling, but then the itch subsides - for a while.
Basically, I am counting the days until I receive high dose chemo inside sterile room.
It seems like Wednesday, March 30th is gonna be the day.
By the way, the beautiful little lady lying next to me on the table is Julcie. I have more photos of our cats here: http://www.pbase.com/etlea/cats
