"Beutel" is really Don Pedro AKA Spanish Peter.

We started to call him "Peterl", then "Peitl" (spelled like "Paytl") which morphed to "Beutel" (means "bag").

He really feels like a bag of silk because of his very short, soft fur - he was born on the Isle of Mallorca and he somehow did not manage to grow a winter fur.

I guess that is because in Mallorca, it's always quite warm and his parents/great parents have been living there for generations.

I also guess that next winter, his winter fur will be fine.
