During their last holidays on the Isla of Mallorca in July of 2004, my parents encountered this charming little rascal, fell in love with him and took him with them. He was about 3 months old back then.

It is said that the gardeners of the hotels there have orders to poison all cats during the winter season.

My parents could not bear the image of this charming little bag full of life being poisoned.
("Beutel" means bag). And so he is here now, living with the wild bunch.

Beutel is a very "good" cat. He would never scratch a human. He is also very affectionate and likes to be fondled.

He is also extremely nervous, and as restless as quicksilver. "Now you see him, now you don't" - that's Beutel!

When he was young and actually still now, Beutel had problems with the wild bunch: he is not a fully accepted member. He has to find his place yet.
