*g* this rendering was a pure stroke of luck, actually one of my first renderings in Maya 4.5. I simply painted some flowers (using the Paint Effects Module), put a depth-of-field setting to the camera and rendered the scene.
If I would have tried to consciously do this, I guess it would have taken me a long time!
