Anita and I became friends when we were 11 years old. For many years we dreamed of going to Italy together. We finally made that happen in July 2006. We spent a week at Agriturismo Cretaiole http://www.cretaiole.it/ near Pienza and took daytrips to many nearby Tuscan hill towns, then spent two nights in Firenze (Florence) and two nights in Roma. It will take awhile to sort through the 2600+ photos I took and to post some.

UPDATE NOVEMBER 11, 2006: I have gone through 1508 of the 2684 pictures I took in Italy. I have posted what I want of those first 1508. The other 1176 will take yet awhile longer....

Love the gallery, Michelle. Will check out more as you add them. I love the one with the bicycle most. I took around 3k pics on my last Irish trip, so I know I'll be busy till xmas.
