AVP Chicago

On July 13th, the AVP Crocs Tour came to Chicago's Oak Street Beach. In the women's finals, Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh faced off against defending Chicago Open champs Annett Davis and Jenny Johnson Jordan in the semi-finals, and Nicole Branagh and Elaine Youngs in the finals. The team of May / Walsh won both contests, and broke their own record of 89 wins. The finals also represented May-Treanor's 100th career win, making her the most successful woman in the history of the sport.
