Truck Float

Metairie, LA

At first glance you would think you were looking at a balcony scene in the French Quarter. The truck floats are decorated so beautifully. The trucks compete for many different awards, best costume, 1st - 3rd place winners, etc. Riding on a truck float on Mardi Gras day is quite an experience and is often a family affair.
