My daughter, Ariel, takes her Christmas trees very seriously. Every year we drive about an hour and a half to a Christmas Tree farm to cut our own tree. This is a tradition that was started when I was a child and I hope will continue for many years. The tree farm had a lot of damage to the big trees that are normally used in hotels and shopping centers. Our tree had been staked back upright from the damage of the wind. It was a wonderful day and nice way to start off the holidays. My daughter's boyfriend had the honor of cutting our tree, it was his first visit to a Christmas Tree farm.
