Dragonfly

My gardens are thriving from all of the rain. The dragonflies were everywhere today. I found this little bitty lizard on a plant in the shade.

OMG! You get the coolest bugs! Can you pack a few of these dragonflies in your mom's suitcase so she can bring me some to photograph? This is outstanding, Elaine...GMV

Boy you have your share of little critters! Nice macros.
Neal Nye13-Jul-2005 12:17
Excellent sharp macro. I have trouble getting to within 10 feet of these things.

I think this is the closest macro I've ever seen of a dragonfly. His eyes are very weird. I know they're designed to see in all directions and this shot shows clearly how they do that. Super detail for such a close up shot.
