Strange Ants

My garden has been invaded by this beautiful orange ant! They are really strange looking and stand out well!

Elaine, I think you have Assassin Bugs which are benifcial foe cleaning up that bad ones. I'm not sure but I think this is the Thread Leg Assassin Bug.

Assassin bugs. Sounds like it could turn gruesome. :) They are very colorful and this is a nice close up.
