Lantana

The butterflies love the Lantana - I've not been able to sneak up on one yet, but I'll keep trying. I think the buds look neat before they open.

Here are the contents of my life

Canon PowerShot A95
1/60s f/4.0 at 16.2mm with Flash full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Very nice flower shot. Keep trying for those butterflies.
BTW, Nice reminder for me to catchup on my backups;-)

The little groups of flowers look like exploding fireworks. What an interesting plant!

Lantana is considered a pest plant here, but that doesn't make it any less pretty. Nice in plain white too.

Great exposure. White is so hard. These are really pretty flowers and I hope those butterflies slow down soon.

This is so well done. You make that tiny flower look like big bugles.

They make great music, especially Carlos! ;^)

I don't think I've ever seen Lantana, and this is beautiful! The buds are rather unique with their square shape.

Excellent detail. I've never noticed what square little packages the buds were.

Very beautiful and how nicely they are arranged by nature. I like the dark that comes from the right side into this image. Wonderful picture. Soothing to some hurting eyes :)
