Egret at Sunset

The sunset on the diversion turned the water pink. This lone egret was enjoying the area. Birds kept swooping by and I could see large fish jumping, but couldn't get a one on camera. I'm sure that sounds like a fish story :)

Fish or not, still a lovely image.

perhaps he was timing his fishing for when they were worn out! Lovely evening glow

LOL! No fish story, honest! Very pretty sunset - hoping for one today around here! Nice!

Lovely hues and the egret looks like he's got all the fish to himeself. :)

He looks lost there. Hope he got home before bedtime...nice shot, Elaine.

Nope, it sounds like my story. The good ones always get away! Neat shot.

He looks so tiny in the distance. Very nice caption, not easy to aim when they are so far away.

You've gotten a perfect little egret in the middle of all this green.

I think he likes being alone enjoying all this beauty..

I tried to guess where the fish will jump too, why can't they cooperate? : )
Nice solemn feel to this Elaine!
