Lizard

This lizard seems to have made his home in my umbrella. He was hanging out catching bugs. He looks a little ferocious.

Guess I should tell the rattlesnake story. I walked into my office to pack up my computer and gather my belongings and as I turned around there was a baby snake. I was not brave like Petesie, instead I quickly gathered my belongings and scooted out of the door. Our custodian was next door getting ice out of the machine, I very calmly told him about the little snake in the office - he opens the door and says, "Oh, that's a baby rattler". Had my camera, but wasn't brave enough to get the picture.

Rattler? Yee-aawww! That would scare the crap outta me. I'm not much of a fan of snakes. I can handle your little lizard OK - as long as it's not one of those Jurassic Park dudes that start out smiling, then turn around and eat you.

This is a terrific and incongruous photo.

Do what I do with rattlers - use stuffed ones. ;-)

Unless you've got mice in your office too, the baby rattler was probably not long for this earth. Otherwise, they grow into BIG ones. Unlike this cute little lizard, who must help us keep the mosquito population in check.

Love him peeking out like that. Checking it out before he emerges. Yeh, I think I'd stay away from poisonous snakes too. That's what zoom is for. :)

Well, that's a good story, but...I think you need to go back and get that rattler on film! Well, on sensor...you know what I mean. We all want to see the baby rattler! ROFL!

As for this lizard, I think he's rather cute! Good snap!
