Doves

I've been trying to get a picture of these doves for a few weeks. They are very shy. They come and eat all of the bird seed that the squirrels throw out of the feeders.

These are so pretty and graceful. Can you believe there's a dove hunting season in Minnesota? Can you imagine why anyone would want to shoot these? Insane.

Nice picture, Elaine. Doves are ground feeders so put some on the ground for them. Your grandfather, Emmett, would say you are blessed to have doves in your yard.
