This is a Holly tree that is in my backyard, and while that isn't snow, it is ice! I was quite excited to wake up this morning to heavy sleet which covered the yard in white. Now I want it to hurry up and go away because they have closed all of the bridges and I can't get to my Mom's house for our traditional celebration. It has been 15 years since I haven't been her house for Christmas. We are not prepared for sleet and snow here in Southern Louisiana.
