Cajun Night Before Christmas

City Park, New Orleans, LA

This is part of a beautiful display at City Park. It is a wonderful light display that is based upon the Cajun Night Before Christmas by James Rice. Each scene of the story lights up as the story is told in a wonderful Cajun accent.

Also in City Park is the New Orleans Historic Train Garden. This is one of the many beautiful miniature structures that are in the garden.


A streetcar and train travel around the track. Here is one with the train.

This is very cool! The lighting is excellent... I don't know why, but it almost seems a cross between halloween and Christmas. The grey moss hanging from the trees may have something to do with it, and it sure adds to the intrigue. I enjoyed all three images.
