Christmas Tree Farm

Pearl River, LA

We had our traditional family outing to cut down Christmas trees. This is a view of some of the trees that were available for cutting. My family and I argue every year, they want a "green" tree and I want a blue green - Carolina Sapphire, they always win :)

Here is our tree

So strange. Green grass. Green leaves on the trees. No snow. But nicely back-lighted trees with a light halo around them. Very appealing. If not very wintry.

Looks too sunny and warm there for it to be Christmas!

Beautiful trees. I'd have a hard time choosing. I'm partial to Douglas firs myself. :)

Great shot, Elaine. This really shows how very green everything still is.

LOL at your 'arguing'! (Ours centers around when to put it up, and I usually win -- December 23rd :)
