Fire

Today was a cloudy, gloomy day with temperatures struggling to get out of the 50s. The good news, I got to have a fire in my fireplace tonight. Yes, I know I'm a little strange, but when living in southern Louisiana it is quite exciting for it to be cool enough for a fire. My first fire of the year :)

I like the individual flame patterns created.

Looks warm and inviting. There's nothing like a fire on a cold night. Neat colors and flames.

Nicely done and not an easy shot to do. How I wish I were sitting by a fire right now. I will just have to stare at your image and remember the crackling and smells.

There is something special about looking into a fire. Like the cosy feel this gives, Elaine.

Very nice photo, Elaine. One of our pecan trees is down, if you need more wood.

Your first fire, our first snow. It's not summertime, any more. Nice warm shot.
