January 2010

January is a time when winter's storms can inundate Vancouver Island with rain, fog and
occasionally some snow. Sometimes, if we're lucky, we may see a glimpse sun and blue sky...
as Carl often says, "in winter we earn our 'wet coast' designation." Yet despite the weather we
still see and abundance of birds that migrate through, some even winter over and if we’re lucky
we can get out and get some great ‘moody’ shots.
