Caught by my Trail Cam in the back yard early in the morning, this mama brought her three kits
for a drink. We have 4 small (4x5'wide and 2.5feet deep) ponds that grow cattails,
dragonfly larva, and a number of algae eating gold fish.
Three ponds are covered with mesh to prevent the raccoons, Blue Herons, and local cats
from eating the fish, salamanders, and dragon fly larva,
and to prevent the raccoons from THRASHING the plants.
Frogs do not last long due to the local cats and Blue Herons.
