Curious, but still wary, this fawn took its time deciding if we were something to play with or something to stay away from. It picked the later and headed off into the bush to joins its' mother. Fawn facts: Young fawns do not have a scent, and therefore do not attract predators. ~ North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre
