It was nearing sunset and the Cedar Waxwings were enjoying their evening meal. I'd been trying for three days to get a shot of these birds and the weather just hadn't been cooperating, but it all finally came together in this moment. Cedar Waxwing facts: They are social birds that can bee seen in flocks year-round. During the late summer and fall they sit in fruiting trees swallowing berries whole, or pluck them in mid-air with a brief fluttering hover.
