Breakfast was the focus for this Osprey and it was evident as we watched it devour an entire fish before flying on up the river. The Osprey have barbed pads on the soles of their feet to help them grip slippery fish. When an Osprey carries a fish in flight it carries the fish headfirst to make it as aerodynamic as possible.
