This picture did not turn out as I'd hoped at all. The colors just overwhelmed my G2 which is somewhat susceptible to problems with reds on occasion. But I've included it anyway to show the powerful effects of sunlight filtered through smoke. This was taken at sunrise on the third day. No filters, no photoshopping, nothing of that sort. This is straight out of the camera although not completely true to life. The colors were more pink to my eyes at the time than the brownish tone here but certainly other-worldly in any case.
