This turned out a little better than I expected. The lake was very still since it is pretty well sheltered from the wind. The snow, the grays with lines and the blue at the bottom give it enough character to work. The snow works as a strong visual signal at the top of the image that there is a mirrored reflection since all of the snow is visible and mirrored along the horizontal axis. Having more of the shot be reflection than a direct photo allows you to see some of what you cannot directly see, the higher portions of the rock face and the sky, by looking at it through the reflection.
