UTAH - ANTELOPE ISLAND

This was a brief visit to Antelope Island, which is a fairly large island located in the middle of the Great Salt Lake. A causeway road connects the island to the mainland. The island is mostly park and has some big game animals, some natural and some transplanted. The American Bison are from a herd brought ferried over about a 100 years ago. We did not have time to look around too much or doing any hiking so this is just a small selection of what we saw on our little tour around the North side of the island:
