My Butterfly Quilt

I designed this quilt myself. The butterfly and flower patterns were mostly made up, but I got a few of them from pattern books. The squares in between the applique blocks are fabrics with butterflies in them. They are all unique. I have been collecting them for years and years with my butterfly quilt in mind.

Jun-2004 - I have finished the quilt top and am currently working on quilting all of the layers together.
Feb-2006 - I have quilted 1/4 of the blocks

Beautiful quilt! I am starting a quilt with butterflies that will fly off of it....also very pretty...as they seem to fly off of the borders....happy quilting ! Lucille (south Africa)

I think your quilt is really beautiful. You are very talented. I too love butterflies but am struggling to get fabrics in GB. Now I've seen your quilt I'll keep searching.
