I was invited by the Jakes of group 3 to go on a ride along on Rescue 1. At the beginning of the week I chose Thursday, December 27th.

I was getting ready at home around 17:00 for my night tour with group 3 as a box was struck for a building fire on Euclid Ave.

The fire struck during the change of shifts and before my arrival at the station. So I took in the fire in my personal vehicle then stopped down to the station for the night tour.

It was a very quiet night after the fire, of course. We ended up taking a medical call since the engine was out of service right after the fire
We went out to a report of a rollover on Burncoat Street around 05:00. Engine 11 arrived on scene and reported no entrapment and we returned to quarters as we approached Kelley Square.

I would like to thank the Jakes of Engine 15 and Rescue 1 for their hospitality. Now if I can stop being a white cloud! After 11 hours of being at the station the only photos taken were the 7 on this page. Maybe next time out i'll catch something.
