Apollo 17 landing site

You can see this landing site well at about the same phase of the moon as the Apollo 11 landing site, a couple days before the first quarter moon. It sits east of the Sea of Serenity, in the Taurus-Littrow region. This was taken with a 10-inch Newtonian, a Nikon D100 and a 12mm Brandon eyepiece. The largest crater is Posidonius (top), at 95 km across.
