You're asking for advice. Here it is. First, I love the idea of the gallery. Second, the dynamics are great. Third, I personally probably would adjaust the color/hue of different images to add variety and, more importantly, amplify the emotionof the respective image. Fourth, don't be afraid to post larger images. 400x300 pixels are too small.
