Elvin, thanks for the carb shim post. What are pics 7 and 8 all about? Shimmed them with washers and she doesn't run too good now. Maybe I should mention she is a Ca. model stripped of all smog crap. I live on Ky. Lake and am a fanatical sailor/boatbuilder. Couldn't help but notice the sailboat in your pic. of the dream team. Am currently rebuilding a 40 ft. catamaran (big enough to put Connie on deck. ha, ha.)and have a couple of little 18 footers in the back yard. Anyway when I test rode connie there was much surgeing and she generally ran like s#$%t! - unless I was hard on the throttle when she would accelerate like mad. Any info will be much appreciated.
