This building is 'Bushells Court'.Alfred George Chiplin, Magistrate and Coroner at Newcastle Court, lived in the flat on the left for several years until he died in 1953. His daughter Mavis Chiplin lived with him. Mavis owned the Helena Baby Shop in the top arcade in Hunter St. Before that, she worked in Winns and before that, she owned Chiplin's Cake Shop in Hunter St. Newcastle.
