On May 12th by surprise I found a pair of Black Woodpeckers and their nest in an old beech.
Afterwards I've watched them for days and days, hours and hours.
It's an organized and social couple. Frequently and very punctual the adults return to the nest
to feed the kids. Male and female relieving eachother.
The spot is very dark and the light circumstances are terrible for a photo.
There's never a moment of sunshine on the beech, the nest is in the shadow all day.
And a forest filters the light. See my exif under the images.
Anyhow I've been able to take a few shots which pleases me.
