First night in Tasmania stayed in Richmond (Mrs. Currie's House), a historic town with the oldest stone bridge in Australia built in 1823. It's just a short drive from Hobart (25km) where you can admire the beauty of this soul-soothing well-preserved heritage village. Tasmania Native hens, Silver Gulls and Pacific Black Ducks are abundant along the river near the bridge. Enroute we had strawberry picking at Sorell Fruit Farm. Their cafe is excellent and the home-made scone is the best I have ever. We returned to Hobart for dinner at the waterfront.
