Even though we had chosen our Bed and Breakfast based on the fact that they offered sherry and cheese in the evening, we decided to wait out the sunset on the beach.
We knew we would miss the sherry yet again, but it was worth it.
The beautiful thing about the B&B was that when Mom and I got back, kind of chilly from the cool evening, the woman of the house offered to bring us sherry and cheese even though it was past the time she usually served it.
Such a lovely gesture that we deeply appreciated.
It capped an incredible day.
