I'm adding these a bit late, but what can I say?

It was kind of a surprise that they even went off.
There were thunderstorms all day.
When I realized the "booms" were fireworks and not thunder, I grabbed the tripod and drove too fast up the road to where I could see them.
It was worth it.
They were simple, but beautiful.
